Regent Energy Group Ltd. (Regent) is a privately owned independent service company which specializes in steam distribution and sand control for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) completion solutions within the oil and gas industry.  Since its inception Regent has been at the leading edge of sand control technology, initially in the Canadian Oilsands, and recently in locations such as the Middle East and South America. Regent is widely credited with significantly advancing the sand control and steam injection exploitation technology used extensively to produce the difficult Heavy Oil and Bitumen reservoirs in Alberta, Canada. Regent is actively expanding worldwide and therefore is extending the use of their advanced exploitation technology, developed in Canada, to oil companies requiring enhanced unconventional resource recovery around the world. 

Regent's evolution has given rise to new opportunities to expand our knowledge base and use our skills in different ways. Through continual research and development, Regent is able to effectively develop a better understanding of behavioral characteristics of Heavy Oil and Bitumen reservoirs and how they can best be exploited.  Based on pertinent reservoir data and empirical and theoretical information, Regent has developed proprietary in-house engineering models/programs, which provide essential answers to everything from optimal slot configuration to optimal steam distribution profiling.
