Optimized Steam Distribution & Analysis
In addition to the flow analysis model described above, Regent has a proprietary steam distribution model which is used to identify the optimum steam distribution through our FCJ product. This reservoir simulation model is used to help design an equally engineered spacing of modules which then provides an optimal steam distribution along the horizontal section. This can be modeled for SAGD or horizontal CSS applications with horizontal CSS FCJ wells being coupled with sand control. Each reservoir is unique and our modeling of steam injection optimization is customized to the reservoir parameters and liner, with steam conditions at each module's horizontal location being identified and calculated for flow rate. This can be further designed to provide highly specific deliverability of steam along any location in the horizontal section, allowing for better steam oil ratios; delivering steam where you want to.
